Brigantia Learning Trust
An inclusive multiphase journey at the heart of our community
The Brigantia Learning Trust was established as a multi-academy trust in April 2013 and built upon a core vision is to change and enhance life chances.
Borne out of the success of Hinde House 2-16 School, the Trust now comprises six academies: Wincobank Nursery and Infant School, Concord Junior School, Hinde House Academy, Yewlands Academy and Longley Park Sixth Form. Academies work together collaboratively to create opportunities and enrichment within and beyond the classroom, so that every pupil and student is provided with a platform from which to succeed, and to achieve their shared mission of Creating Excellence Together.
As the first 2-19 Academy Trust in Sheffield, the Trust takes great pride in its ability to offer a seamless transition throughout every young learners educational journey. All academies all situated within 5 kilometres of one another, and regularly engage in shared projects and initiatives in order to share best practice and strengthen partnership.
Since joining the Trust in 2018, we are delighted with the growth, development and progress we have made, going from strength to strength and examination results demonstrating the most improvement in Sheffield.
“Within the Brigantia Learning Trust, our academies have continued to grow as centres of excellence, drawing upon a collective pool of expertise and resource. Our staff and Trustees work collaboratively to deliver the very best in traditional education with a forward-thinking approach, ensuring that every child and young adult in our care is prepared and well-equipped for the demands of a global and ever-changing society.
Our strong leadership teams are ambitious and dedicated to driving improvement and securing the very best outcomes in each of our academies, through a commitment to excellence and unwavering values. I am incredibly proud to be CEO of the Brigantia Learning Trust and look forward to working with the academy to continue on this progressive journey.”
